Thai Airways International Public Company Limited is the national carrier of the Kingdom of Thailand. It operates domestic, regional and intercontinental flights radiating from its home base in Bangkok to key destinations around the world and within Thailand.
Thai Airways International was founded in 1960 as a joint venture between Thailand’s domestic carrier.From its hub at Suvarnabhumi Airport, Thai flies to 72 destinations in 35 countries, using a fleet of 85 aircraft. The airline operates one of the longest non-stop commercial flights of Boeing 777-300 from Bangkok to Athens(seasonal), and the longest non-stop commercial flight of Boeing 777-200 from Bangkok to Brisbane. Thai Airways International is the first Asia-Pacific airline to serve London Heathrow Airport.
